À propos de l'événement
Sukkot (the Feast of Tabernacles or Booths) may be the most joyful feast in Scripture. For a week, families build a simple, branch-roofed booth (a sukkah) and actually live in it — eating, and even sleeping, inside. It falls just five days after Yom Kippur, right as the autumn harvest comes in.
It goes back to the Exodus, when Israel spent forty years without a permanent home, trusting God to provide along the way.
The sukkah keeps that memory alive — a yearly reminder that none of us are quite as settled as we think we are.
But Sukkot isn't only about looking back. It's also about a home still to come — the day God changes His address, so to speak, and moves in with us for good. We'll unpack what that means on the night itself!
Join us for dinner in our own sukkah (just one night, not seven!), good food, and a look at what this ancient feast still points to.
